One of my kids found a new home

So its Saturday in SOMA after this morning's rain and waiting on the second round of showers later today, and I just sold my favorite picture here on 10th Street, and sent it to a nice home in Noe Valley with a couple Hillary Williams prints we framed.  I'll miss the "Asian Still Life" by C. Chandler Ross.  I think I was secretly hoping it wouldn't sell and then I would buy it and take it home.  It had a beautiful bamboo moulding and a fabric wrapped mat on it.  It greeted me everyday, and was a personal highlight on the wall, but with the big sale we're having through Christmas (20% off all pre-framed non-original art and mirrors), I expect I'll be sayng goodbye to a lot more of my little kiddies.

It's nice to think of them hanging in a new home though.  That is the point! Can't help but have a little separation anxiety.

Got all the Holiday decor up and trying to hold back until Monday before I start jamming the Christmas music.  Plenty of stuff for home and office this year.  I have spent the last few weeks collecting all sorts of stuff for any budget, so come check it out!

----Have a good weekend all- Derek

The development of the new apartment towers on 10th Street, across from our SoMa store, is progressing nicely.  The 19-floor tower (closest, draped) is nearly, well, 19 floors high.  In the distance, the 38-floor tower grows day by day.
