"But Randy," you ask, "what are you guys working on?"
Many, many things, my friends! Let's start off with what's in the galleries.
On Valencia Street, at Back to the Picture's Latin American Gallery:
Gracias Madre...Mercado Sin Fronteras.
Our friends Steve Thompson and Louis Rodriguez of
DeSilva Imports have teamed up with Maria V. Pinedo to bring us this wonderful selection of Mexican Folk Art! Painstaking to import, Steve, Louis, and Maria have taken great care to curate a selection of some of the finest pieces south of the border.
Gracias Madre...Mercado Sin Fronteras illustrates the craftsmanship and artistry passed on through the generations in many Latin American families. In honor of Mother's Day, this show has many gorgeous items suited to give as gifts. There are a few pics here, but much more to see on
Facebook.
The Reception is this Saturday Night, May 5, 2012, from 7-9 pm. RSVP
here!
